A most extraordinary two days in Kruger National Park!
On Thursday morning we took a 6:30 a.m. flight from Cape Town to Johannesburg, rented a van, and off we went to the Lowveld and Kruger National Park. We were barely inside the gates when we saw giraffe, elephants, warthogs, impala, and baboons.
We spent two nights in Zulu Thatch Huts at Skukuza Rest Camp, which meant we could go out for an early-morning drive and come back for breakfast.
On Saturday, driving north from Skukuza we saw an amazing number of animals in large herds - definitely the most impressive time I've ever had in Kruger National Park.
