The others flew in to Johannesburg Sunday afternoon and we spent the night at my favorite B&B there, Sleep Eezy Cottages. We were off to the airport Monday morning for a 9:10 flight to Cape Town, getting to our lodge there just after noon. We are staying at Rouge on Rose, in the Bo Kap district, the neighborhood of brightly colored houses at the foot of Signal Hill.
It's a convenient location for walking around the city and we headed for the Company Gardens and St. George's Mall, the main pedestrian shopping street.
In the evening we drove out along the Atlantic Seaboard for sunset and a seafood dinner in Camp's Bay. Back up over Kloof's Neck to Cape Town and city lights.
